After the split
up of The Boots, David was
looking for work and Tam Paton asked
him if he would help him out with has potato business. David said
yes and soon learned Tam's real motive was for David to take over
for The Bay City Rollers'
lead guitarist who was leaving the band. David agreed to lend
a hand, never seeing the gig as anything more than temporary.
David left the band in October 1970 but not before he had few
Chinese meals and met a guy named Billy. |
