Things started well with CBS and
The Animal in Me
was recorded pretty soon after signing. Session musicians
were used for the backing track and interestingly, MUD
were in the studio using the same session musicians
for a song called Up the Airy
Mountain. Next the band recorded Even
the Bad Times are Good without sessions musicians.
The Boots really
liked this song and hoped for a good reaction. However,
The Tremolos heard
the song and wanted it. So it was given to them because
they were already established and became a big hit for
them. It ended up on the b-side of The
Animal in Me. If you
