While things seemed to start well
when The Animal in Me
was recorded, things didn't take off. Who knows what
might have been if Even the
Bad Times are Good had been given to The
Boots instead of The
Tremolos? The band's second single, Keep
Your Lovelight Burning, was released later
in 1968 but failed to burn up the charts. When you take
a listen you will understand why. When the work started
to dry up in London, the band moved back to Edinburgh.
Mike (the singer) left the band and the rest split soon
after.
