You are listenng to clips from some of the lastest songs to be recorded by Kenny Herbert and Rab Howat in DPS Studios for their next album. Kenny and Rab are Edinburgh singer songwriters who have been working on the music scene for the last 25 years writing and playing in various styles from Traditional Scottish to Soul and R&B. David met Kenny and Rab a few years ago and collaborated with the duo on their first 2 albums The Last Song in Abbey Road and 8121980. These albums, which include songs written and recorded by Kenny and Rab in a Beatlesque style, were released in the UK in 2004 and 2005 to critical acclaim. David’s bass, vocals, and songwriting can be heard on these albums. Kenny and Rab were then invited to play at the World Beatle Convention by BBC Radio Merseryside and Channel 4 National television who all picked up on their music along with numerous other UK stations. Kenny has also been co-writing and working with one of the UK's top soul jazz artists, London based Ola Onabule and has built up a small catalogue of real quality songs. David’s brilliant playing and production can be heard on Kenny and Rab’s recent release Songs of Our Lives.
